No-Bake Chocolate Almond Butter Protein Bars

protein barsFound this on Pinterest. No baking involved! With the added protein powder and ground flax seed, they are not only delicious, but such a healthy, satisfying snack.

1 cup of almond butter
1 mashed banana
2 tbls of agave
1 packet of truvia
1/2 cup palm sugar
1/2 cup coconut oil
2 cups of quick oats
2 tbsp ground flax seed
1 1/4 cup chocolate chips
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1/4 cup of almond milk

In a medium saucepan, melt the almond butter, agave, truvia, palm sugar, coconut oil, and mashed banana together. Mix in the oats, flax seed, protein powder, chocolate chips, and almond milk until chocolate is melted.

Place wax paper in a 9×13 pan. Spread the mixture into the pan and place in the fridge for an hour. Cut into bars and enjoy! (Store in fridge).
