Hardbody Outdoor Fitness has partnered with Elite Chiropractic & Sport (HOF Sponsor), to bring you a new and more comprehensive way to get better results. Since HOF is an outdoor program, the next best idea was to use one of our sponsors to reach our health and fitness goals. The InBody Body Composition Analysis is a new offering that we hope HOF Members and non-members can take full advantage of.
Cost: $99 for three tests (more valuable) or $50 for one test
The greatest feature of the InBody is being able to track the right kind of weight loss. With the multiple tests option, your progress is recorded for tracking. A client that comes in at 8 pounds lighter in one week, may find out they lost 6 pounds of water and 2 pounds of muscle. This really helps us stress the importance of proper nutrition, resistance training, productive cardio training (inside and outside of HOF classes) and proper supplementation.
The test takes one (1) minute. That’s it!! Measure your fat, muscle, and water levels in less than a minute. No dunking. No pinching. No discomfort. Simply stand on the device and hold the hand electrodes to test.
After your initial session with an Elite Chiropractic & Sport staff member, members then share their results with your Hardbody Outdoor Fitness trainer. The next steps is for you to have a consult and we start adjusting your bootcamp training, your nutrition and set you on a more focused path to greater results in a reasonable time-frame. It all starts with knowing how your body is performing right now.
Here is a look at the data that you receive from your InBody Composition Analysis (click image below for additional details). You will be taken to the InBody website for an interactive tour of the one page document;

Why do I need to know how much muscle I have?
Results sheet will show if you have enough water and protein in your body with very specific details based on the regional on your body (arms, trunk, legs)
What is the purpose of fat and how much do I need?
The InBody identifies the amount of fat in the body along with the appropriate recommended ranges. Body fat accumulation is the result of excess calorie intake. These calories are deposited as fat to preserve energy. Body fat can serve as a protective cushion and a certain amount of fat is considered vital. Too little fat inhibits the body’s natural immune response and normal hormone function. Fat insulates the body and can be metabolized to generate heat in response to low temperatures. It is the most concentrated source of caloric energy. Too much body fat can lead to a high risk of disease.
Why can’t I base my current health status off my weight alone?
The ratio between muscle mass and body fat is more meaningful and important than body weight alone. Muscle is denser and weighs more than fat, so a lean, muscular person can weigh more than someone with a higher amount of body fat. Percent Body Fat, rather than weight, is a more accurate means of assessing degrees of obesity or degrees of fitness.
We look forward to helping you reach your goals in a safe and efficient manner.
