Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of person attends Hardbody Outdoor Fitness programs?
The people at Hardbody Outdoor Fitness, LLC are people just like you… they have a desire to do something different than what they have been doing. They want to overcome a food addiction, laziness, time constraints or mid-life crisis. They are from all walks of life. They are men, women, young and old. People are just people, but people who graduate from Hardbody Outdoor Fitness, LLC are exceptional people! And that will soon be you.

What should I bring to class?
You definitely need your workout clothes. If you are attending class in the cooler months, wear layers for the outdoors. You will need sneakers, a bottle of water, a small towel (depending on the day) and a pair of dumbbells (8-15 lbs for women, 10-20 lbs for men). Hardbody Outdoor Fitness, LLC also has Cool and Heat Gear available, so check out our online store by visiting the "Store" link on the top of the website.

What if I am not a runner?
We love running, but we will not force you to. If you could power walk, you will be perfectly fine. The more you condition yourself to walk, the sooner you will be be able to transition to jogging.

About how many people will be in class?
Classes will be anywhere from 10 – 30 people. You will see different members on different days as personal schedules fluctuate by each member.

But I can't perform the exercises in your videos?
Our videos show only a snapshot of what happens in class. We will provide alternative exercises, targeting the same muscles, but will be perfect for your restrictions. We want you to get into the habit of putting effort forward. If you can not perform an exercise because of biomechanical reasons, then we will (after consultation) figure out "WHY" and work on the issue. If it is because of an injury, you would have disclosed that on your medical waiver and we will be fully prepared. You are in good hands.

Does HOF offer refunds?
Once you sign-up as a member, we understand that things happen. But there is no turning back. Stay committed and follow-through with STARTING STRONG!! If for some reason a medical issue was the problem, then we will discuss the options. Please notify us immediately in order to take the necessary actions.

What is a typical HOF class like?
Every class is different. From cardio, bodyweight exercises, weight-lifting with your dumbbells/kettlebells, core work, running, pushups, squats and more…you will never get bored. The "runner's high" is highly sought after and we work pretty hard to shrink waists, tone upper bodies, strengthen legs while simultaneously burning fat.

What if it rains?
You will get wet. This is a bootcamp program. We may get drizzled on, but it will not break us. The show will go on and we have outdoor places to run for cover.

How is my progress measured?
We will evaluate your current fitness level, take your body fat percentage, activity level and ability. Based on your questionnaire, a quick fitness test will be implied in order to gauge your fitness levels. We will take take "before" pictures for you that will become inspiration for current members and those interested in membership.

I have a friend who wants to come to class, can I bring him/her?
Our program is 90% referrals. They mean a lot to us and we encourage you to bring your friends and family to class. The more support you have in class, the higher probability of you remaining successful. Please have them complete a medical waiver found on our "Registration" page and choose a Monday to get started.

Is HOF on Facebook and Twitter?
Does Superman wear tight tights? Absolutely!! Check us out and stay informed. Facebook: HOF FACEBOOK PAGE Twitter: Search for HARDBODY4LIFE and @shawnchev

If I'm a member, can I attend other HOF classes?
